Here is a question from a forum:
At this point would converting a large DVD collection to a Drobo 5n be viable? When I ripped all my titles and put them on my Drobo 5n and pointed my dedicated Mac mini running Plex Server and running Plex Theater, that’s connected to a 4×4 matrix switch that plays to all my TVs in my house. So assume I don’t know anything about how this sort of thing might work. Trust me, it’s not much of a stretch. I have no idea what kind of storage space this would take as I’ve got several hundred DVD’s. I don’t know what programs, if any, can rip DVDs like this and I haven’t a clue if there are any organizing programs out there that would make it easier to find the movies I want once I rip them. Can you give me some suggestions?
